What is counseling like?
To start with, you will answer questions to help your counselor understand what you need help with.
Your answers are confidential and part of your personal records. You will answer questions about your
personal history and current concerns. You can also
have an initial 10 minute phone consultation for free!
Weekly sessions are usually advised so that you can begin to see the changes you’ve been desiring. As you progress, you may be able to taper off your sessions and eventually conclude your services.
Do you take insurance?
There two options for payment. Clients can do private pay through Take Heart LPC.
They may also choose apply their insurance by seeing Jacqueline through Sondermind. This is a platform connecting the public with mental health professionals. Do you have telehealth services?
Yes. If a client is unable to attend in-person sessions,
telehealth appointment options can be
discussed with the provider.
How long is counseling?
Your session will run about 53 minutes.
Depending on how often you attend sessions, your participation, and what your personal needs are, you may attend counseling for about 6 months
or longer. Each person is different; some need just a few months others need many more.
Do I have to be a Christian?
While Christian counseling is a primary speciality for Jacqueline, she has significant experience
counseling those who are agnostic. A phone consultation will help determine if Take Heart LPC
is a good fit for you.
